Diana enjoys a varied career in music that encompasses her love of performance and teaching.

She is the Principal Oboist of the Atlanta Opera, where her performance in Richard Strauss’ Salome earned praise as “bewitching” in Arts Atlanta in 2020. She also plays with the Atlanta Ballet Orchestra, Huntsville Symphony Orchestras, and various ensembles throughout the Southeast. At home in Nashville, Diana teaches private oboe lessons to kids and adults of all ages. She also records out of her home recording studio.

Diana received a bachelor’s degree in oboe performance from the Eastman School of Music and a master’s degree from Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music, where she studied with Richard Killmer and Robert Atherholt, respectively. Her oboe career has taken her around the region and world, including performances in Russia, Japan, and China. She is also a certified Suzuki Early Childhood Education teacher and received her training in 2014 in London, Ontario from the program’s founder, Dorothy Jones, and her daughter, Sharon Jones.
